LFIA, the advocacy group for all residents of Los Feliz, has serious concerns about the proposed Hollywood Center Project. While we support the revitalization and redevelopment of Hollywood, the currently proposed project has many significant flaws that need to be addressed.
LFIA…objects to the City providing only the minimum allowed comment period for the Hollywood Center Project Draft DEIR.
LFIA has an interest in this project and would very much like to participate in the comment process, but will be challenged to do so on the constrained timeline.
LFIA, the advocacy group for all residents of Los Feliz, has serious concerns about the proposed Sidewalk Repair Program. We fully recognize the importance of having functioning sidewalks; however, cutting down mature trees in order to make the repair is a draconian solution. It should be the last option, not the first.
Earlier this month, PR firm Consensus, presented the potential routes from phase 2 of the Griffith Park Aerial Transit Study to LFIA. We were very surprised and dismayed to see that the Griffith Observatory terminal point for the ATS had been eliminated.
LFIA, the advocacy group for all residents of Los Feliz, has strongly supported the Los Angeles River Revitalization Plan for a decade. In 2013 LFIA enthusiastically supported the most comprehensive riparian habitat restoration plan which was ultimately adopted by the City. The proposed Casitas Lofts project (the Project) on the banks of the river is totally incompatible with the LA River Revitalization Plan. Therefore LFIA opposes the project.
LFIA…wants to thank you for introducing a Council Motion on February 11, 2020 instructing the City’s Planning Department to revise the guidelines for Transit Oriented Community, or TOC, development.
