The Los Feliz Improvement Association will present high-powered city and local executives to speak to current city water projects and the future of the Los Angeles and how both will affect Los Feliz short-term and long-term. The program will held at LFIA’s spring community forum, Monday May 19 at the Autry National Center in Griffith Park.
Speakers will include Marty Adams, head of the LADWP’s Water System; Carol Armstrong, the LA Bureau of Engineering’s head of the LA River master plan and current projects; Josephine R. Axt, the Chief of Planning for the US Army Corps of Engineers; and Omar Brownson, President of the LA River Revitalization Corporation. With many visuals, the program is an eye-opener!
A bonus…there will also be a short presentation on the history of water in Los Feliz given by LFIA’s resident historian, Don Seligman.
The public is invited to the free event. Refreshments at 6 p.m. and the program at 7 p.m.
