The Los Feliz Improvement Association’s third Historic & Architectural Walking Tour of Los Feliz neighborhoods will take place on May 17th and 31st. This docent-guided one-mile visit to one of Los Feliz’s most historic neighborhoods will cover the streets that made up department store magnate Arthur Letts’ extensive estate, Holmby House and Gardens. Homes designed by some of the most important architects of the 1920s and 1930s for many of Los Angeles’ foremost leaders took over the Letts mansion grounds following Lett’s death in 1923.
This 90-minute tour is limited to only three groups of fifteen participants on each Saturday morning, so early reservations are recommended. Don’t miss out on this opportunity to learn more about Los Feliz’s unique historic beginnings!
