Los Feliz has a brand new mural “Greetings From Los Feliz” near the intersection of Franklin and Vermont. The mural features favorite neighborhood places and images including the Griffith Observatory, Mullholland Foundation, Shakespeare Bridge and Steamboat Willie, among others. Watching over (or under it all) is our famous mountain lion P-22.
The project was the produced by the Los Feliz-based non-profit The Local Collective with funding provided by LFIA. Artists from the Greetings Tour © designed and installed the mural.
The Greetings Tour © is a nationwide public art project led by muralist Victor Ving and photographer Lisa Beggs. They have been working with communities since 2014 to create their series of iconic modern-day postcard landmarks across the United States.
Los Feliz-based The Local Collective strengthens neighborhood business communities through advocacy, collaboration, education, and community-based projects that support commercial stability, counter displacement, and preserve neighborhood identity. Their first project was the 2026 Los Feliz Mural Festival.
