Councilmember Tom La Bonge, successor to John Ferraro, completes a long career representing Los Feliz at City Hall: 36.5 years of service to Los Feliz.  His peers at city hall lauded (and roasted him a bit) him in an emotional ceremony in which family, friends, colleagues and the mayor shared their love for the man who has rightfully earned the title “Mr. Los Angeles.”

A champion of Griffith Park, Marshall High, Ferraro Field, the LA River and regular at establishments on Hillhurst, Vermont and Hollywood Blvd, he will continue to live and hike in our neighborhood.  Immediate plans include some travel.
