See some of the excellent photos local residents have donated to LFIA’s Photo Archives capturing our lives in 2020 during our Virtual Photo Day Saturday, November 21, from 1 – 2 p.m.
To join the Zoom session, please register in advance here. After registering, you will receive a confirmation email containing information about joining the meeting.
The Zoom program will feature a talk by Los Angeles Public Library’s Christina Rice, librarian for LAPL’s popular and extensive Photo Collection.
The virtual meet-up will also include information about LFIA’s Photo Day, which this year is inviting Los Feliz residents to email photos reflecting our unprecedented lives in 2020. Those images can be emailed to: photoday@lfia.org.
“We want to tell the story through pictures showing how all of us lived through this historic year,” said Marian Dodge, co-chair of LFIA’s History Committee. “Many significant events—from the pandemic crisis to the social justice movement—have occurred and we want photos that reflect those moments.”
See you virtually Saturday! Any questions, email photoday@lfia.org.
