Six tours, 80 participants, enthusiastic response. That summarizes the initial foray of the LFIA into exposing the unknown rich and fascinating historic and architectural legacy of Los Feliz’s past. Sponsored by the Membership and History Committees, the tours covered about one mile of streets in the former Sturdivant Garden acreage between Western Avenue and Laughlin Park. Led by Docents Jon Zimmermann, Marian Dodge and Don Seligman, the participants were treated to a wide range of information describing the area’s development from the earliest times.
