A sold-out crowd greeted Rep. Adam Schiff with a standing ovation at a LFIA-sponsored program Monday night at Friendship Auditorium.

Welcoming remarks were given by LFIA President Standolyn Robertson.  The congressman, whose district includes Los Feliz, was introduced by LFIA’s Program Chair Patti Ruben.

Schiff spoke on a wide range of issues ranging from the Mueller report be made public, gun violence, taxes, health care to preserving wilderness areas. The congressman encouraged the audience to “get involved and not tune out,” adding that “We have every reason for optimism.”

Afterward, Schiff took time to meet with constituents.  This marks the second time in two years, he has spoken at a program hosted by LFIA.
