LFIA is celebrating its 100th birthday this summer and everyone is welcome to join in the fun!
100 Years: Historic Moments in Los Feliz – Photo Display
July 18th to September 12th
Various locations throughout Los Feliz
As LFIA celebrates it’s centennial year, we’ve collaborated with the Los Feliz Village business community to show forty-four historic Los Feliz images for your enjoyment and purchase. Proceeds will support LFIA’s programs benefiting the community.
LFIA’s collection of historic images spans more than a century. From its rancho days to the neighborhood we know today, Los Feliz has offered photographers one-of-a-kind visual opportunities. Pivotal moments captured on film include the birth of the motion picture industry, the Great Flood of 1938, Griffith Park as an enduring and welcome respite from urban life, the rise of two landmarks–the Greek Theatre and the Griffith Observatory–and many other moments key to shaping our neighborhood.
To mark our 100th year, we went through our digital files and commissioned the printing and framing of some of our favorites. Look for detailed information on the opening event and photo locations on lfia.org at the beginning of July.
Saturday, September 17th
Wilson Harding Golf Course Clubhouse

Take a trip back to the roaring ’20s to relive the Charleston, bootlegged cocktails, and the early days our neighborhood and the LFIA! Bust out your brogues and your flapper dresses and dance away at the historic Wilson Harding Golf Course Clubhouse. Look for detailed event information on lfia.org in the coming weeks.
