On December 3rd, the Department of Recreation & Parks will launch the Griffith Parkline, a free shuttle in Griffith Park that will run on Saturdays and Sundays from noon to 10 p.m. The shuttle will stop at a number of popular attractions within the Park including the LA Zoo, the Autry, Travel Town and the Griffith Observatory.
LFIA has long advocated for both decreased vehicle traffic and greater safety for bikers, hikers, walkers and equestrians in Griffith Park. Along with the DASH line extension into the Park and for-fee parking at Griffith Observatory, the Griffith Parkline is another key step towards this goal.
