Motorist can expect delays on Los Feliz Boulevard, from Nottingham Avenue to Chislehurst Drive, six days a week for nearly two months starting Friday, October 1.  According to the LADWP, new underground transmission cables will be installed along with transformer upgrades and new circuits.

The plan calls for work to be conducted Mondays through Fridays, from 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. and on Saturdays from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m.  During those hours, traffic will be reduced to one lane going eastbound and one lane going westbound on the project’s 1,300-feet stretch of the boulevard.

After work hours, traffic will be returned to normal. There will have electronic message boards set up beforehand to notify motorists and residents.

The project completion is scheduled for Nov. 24.
