Tricks, Treats, Scary Music and a Halloween Fest with Symphony in the Glen
October 31, 2011 at 7 p.m. at the Greek Theatre in Griffith Park
Collect your trick-or-treat bag at the LFIA and Los Feliz Library booth at 5:30 p.m. on the Greek Theatre Plaza. Then attend the concert that will include a creepy collection of frightening favorites: Night on Bald Mountain, Danse Macabre, music from “Psycho” and a reading of Edgar Allan Poe’s “The Tell-tale Heart” with musical accompaniment. The finale will be film clips from the 1935 movie, “Bride of Frankenstein” with music from Franz Waxman’s “Bride of Frankenstein” score.
