For a century, the Shakespeare Bridge has connected neighborhoods, welcomed us home and become one of the most recognizable landmarks in our corner of Los Angeles.
On Saturday, October 10, our neighbors at the Franklin Hills Residents Association (@franklinhills) are celebrating the bridge’s 100th birthday with a community parade and free block party beneath the bridge – and everyone is invited!
It takes a neighborhood (or a few!) to bring a celebration like this to life. Volunteers are needed to help with the event, and community donations will help support the festivities.
Join our Franklin Hills neighbors in celebrating a pretty remarkable piece of local history – and 100 years of connecting our communities.
