Statement of Significance:
The property meets the criteria for HCM designation because it embodies the “distinguishing characteristics of an architectural-type specimen, inherently valuable for a study of a period style or method of construction,” as an example of mixed Spanish Colonial Revival and Mediterranean Revival architecture. Originally home to Abraham Louis Gore, an early film executive, the property has become a visible landmark in the Los Feliz community.
