History:
Home of Hon. Emmet Homer Wilson (born 1/15/1876), Justice, District Court of Appeal. (Source: Who’s Who in Los Angeles County, 1942-43, 1950-51 p. 32.)
Emmet Wilson was Chief Deputy City Attorney of Los Angeles from 1907 to 1911. He was appointed a Los Angeles Superior Court Judge by then Governor C. C. Young in 1927, and held that post until 1945. In 1945, he was appointed as Associate Justice of the California Court of Appeal, Second Appellate District, Division 2, and held that position until 1951. (California Court Documents)
