History: Beatrice Burnham lived at 5614 W. Franklin Avenue at the time of the 1920 census. She was born in Galveston, Texas in 1901 and began her career in 1917 at Fox and Paramount Studios at the age of 16. Early on she played supporting roles, but she eventually moved to starring status including “Riders of the Purple Sage” (1925) with Tom Mix. She suddenly retired after appearing in 22 films between 1916 and 1925. Patrick H. “Pat” O’Malley, Jr. lived at 5610 W. Franklin Avenue at the time of the 1920 census. He was born in 1890 in Forest City, Pennsylvania. After a short stint in the circus, he began in the film industry as an actor in 1914. During the silent era, he played both male leads and character parts. His career ebbed somewhat with sound, but he continued to thrive in the industry as a supporting actor. By the time of his retirement in 1964, he had been featured in an astonishing 407 productions over his entire career. He passed away in 1966 in Van Nuys, California.
