History:

This Gothic Norman home with steeply pitched shingled rooflines and tower was an inspiration of one of the most important architects of the early 20th century, Gordon B. Kaufmann, who also designed the Hoover Dam, the LA Times building, Greystone Manor in Beverly Hills, Santa Anita Horse Race Park,and the Adophe Menjou residence in Los Feliz. Its first owner was Dr. Isaac Jones, a well respected otolaryngologist. (Donald Seligman)
