History:
Home of Ernest F. Bent, born November 1, 1882 at Los Angeles, the son of H. K. W.Mattie (Fairman) Bent; educated at Pomona College of which institution his father had been one of the original founders; was a pioneer in the Concrete Pipe industry, and for six years Vice President of the American Concrete Pipe Association; member of the Los Angeles Athletic Club, and of the Sons of the American Revolution, also of the Lakeside Country Club.(Source: Who’s who in Los Angeles County, 19321933, p. 160.)
