The Posde Company, architect. History: 5055 was the home of Michael Visaroff, an actor born in Russia in 1892 who began a film career soon after immigrating to the United States in 1922. His claim of noble lineage led to roles like Count Bosrinov in “Disraeli” (1929), and he was a prominent character actor. He played innkeepers in the first two Dracula films (1931, 1935), and in Laurel and Hardy’s “The Flying Deuces” (1939). By the time of his death in 1951, he had been featured in 51 films
