Home of Joseph H. Stace in 1928. Business and Financial Advisor, offices, 219 O. T. Johnson Building, LA; known as “The Mortgage Specialist”; born in 1878 in Connecticut, the son of Arthur H. J. and Caroline C. Wyckoff Stace; after completing his education in Newark, NJ, he engaged in the life insurance and finance business in New York City for 12 years; then 8 years in Chicago and Milwaukee operating as Joseph H. Stace, “The House of Specialties”; Married Laura Dubberke in Milwaukee in 1913. Upon coming to LA in 1916, he engaged in the financial end of the real estate business. President of The Financiers, a Trust Estate; President Third District Chamber of Commerce; Director, Los Feliz Improvement Association; Vice President LA County Conservation Association; member LA Chamber of Commerce; President Affiliated Improvement Association, City & County of LA, 1926; Past President & Organizer of the Figueroa Arms Holding Corp.; Division Inspector of the American Protective League, Dept of Justice 191718.
