This was the residence of Robert A. Odell (a.k.a. O’Dell) in 1930. Born on May 4, 1896 in Los Angeles, he was the Art Director at Paramount of over 50 films between 1930 and 1940, in- cluding “Tom Sawyer” (1930), “Alice in Wonderland” (1933), “Ruggles of Red Gap” (1935), “Beau Geste” (1939), and “Road to Singapore” (1940). He died in los Angeles in 1984.
