History:
Joseph M. Sniffen, who lived here in 1940. Sniffen was the first Principal of Marshall High School, a post he held from 1931 until the 1940s. Sniffen was also an LFIA Director from 1934 until 1943, and was Secretary from 1934 until 1936.
