Dr. Clayton M McCauley was a nationally known orthodontist prior to his retirement after 51 years of practice. He attended both Valparaiso University and the University of Illinois Dental College. He practiced in Chicago and Texas before coming to Los Angeles where he had offices on Wilshire Boulevard. He had been head of the Orthodontia Department of the Los Angeles Orthodontic Hospital in Los Angeles, and was a past president of the National Association of Dental Examiners.
