About
History:
3240 Lowry was the home in 1930 of Director/Writer Ray Enright. Born in 1896 in Indiana, En-right began first working as a writer and film editor in silent comedies for Charlie Chaplin and Mack Sennett. His first directing venture was in a “Rin Tin Tin” movie in 1927. Over time he became known for breezy comedies that turned into action films, and later for westerns. When he retired in 1952, he had directed over 70 films.
