History:

Mrs. Gordon L. McFarland was a member of the Los Feliz Woman’s Club from 1951-61. (Source: Los Feliz Woman’s Club rosters.) Theodore E. Hammond and his brother founded the investment house of Hammond Brothers in 1921. In 1929, Hammond Brothers Company merged with the William R Staats Company. Mr. Hammond served on the Board of Governors of the California Chapter of the Investment Bankers Association and was also a member of the Board of Governors of the Los Angeles Stock Exchange.
