History:

Alvin N Dunn was the President of the Dunn-Edwards Paint Company, founded in Los Angeles in 1925 and which was a family owned business for over 75 years. Today it is the largest employee-owned paint manufacturer in the United States. Hal Roach also once owned the house. (source: Tammy Gower, owner in 1996)
