Title search shows 6/21/23, William Mead purchased from Griffith Estate & subdivided. Bought 7/18/23 by Kemper Campbell. Sold to Carl Ray in 1924. Additional owners include Konstantin A. Efremov, First Secretary of the Embassy of the Union of Soviet Socialist Republic, who sold to James Compas in 1951. Architect Harold S. Johnson received license 2620, reported in SWB&C that date. Partnership with C.E. Norenberg reported in 5/7/20 SWB&C. Former owner said the Russians altered a 6-car garage to accommodate servants. Pit and pump remain. Monogram on chimney has been changed from original. Numerous documents available.
