About
History:
Louis Roth learned his trade by apprenticing for a tailor in his native Poland. He had excellent skills and landed a job making men’s clothing in Los Angeles and eventually went on to start his own company called Louis Roth Clothing. Roth soon created the California look. They had a special way of creating the shoulders – so they enhanced a way a man looked. “One of their mottos was, “The most comfortable clothes you could wear,” which they really were.” Upon his passing, the Roth Family Foundation was created to invest in organizations that inspire hope, dignity, and creativity, primarily in the Los Angeles area, grounded in a legacy of social justice and civil rights. (Louis Roth obituary)
