Home of C. C. Gaylord in 1928. Assistant Secretary-Treasurer of Rio Grande Oil Company, Subway Terminal Building; and also of the Reservoir Hill Gasoline Co., Lockhart & Co., and Pacific Marine Oil Co., since December, 1920. Born at Lincoln County, New Mexico, 9/25/1895, son of M. D. Gaylord and Sophia S. Dillard Gaylord; attended schools in New Mexico and Texas, after which he entered the mining business and was Asst. Superintendent of the Duncan Min- ing & Milling Co. of Duncan, AZ from 19191920; previous to this he served in France during 19171919 with Company A, 141st Infantry; came to Los Angeles from El Paso, Texas in July, 1923; married Alieta Murray of Hoopstown, IL in LA in 1928. He is a member of the LA Athletic, Pacific Coast, Santa Monica Athletic and Hollywood Athletic Clubs; also is a Scottish Rite Mason and member of the Shrine.
