History:
Home of Philip and Fannie Hunt in 1930s. They owned the “Talmadge House” 4320 W. Cedarhurst off and on from 1927 to 1947 when it was sold for taxes. (Source: Los Angeles City Directory, 1930-1931.) Philip and Frances Hunt purchased the house in 1927 while building their 4320 Cedarhurst Circle castle. The Hunts lived here whenever they leased their Cedarhurst property to celebrities.
