Blodget was born in Youngsville, PA, the son of Spencer Langdon and Clara Belnop Blodget; he is the brother of Rush and Ward Blodget, both of Youngsville. He received his education in Bakersfield, CA and at Stanford University, after which he engaged in mechanical engineering work; was located in Huntington Beach until 1923 when he came to LA.
Married Mellamae Bossart in 1925 in LA; they have two sons Kirby Stevenson and Percy Langdon, Jr. Member of the Shrine and other Masonic bodies and the Acacia Fraternity.
