History:

The Los Feliz branch library opened in 1999. It was built on the site of the former family home of Leonardo DiCaprio, where DiCaprio lived during his teens while attending John Marshall High School. As a result, DiCaprio donated $35,000 to build the library’s state-of-the-art computer center to help patrons improve their math, reading, language, computer and study skills.
