Note re Lyman Place:

The entire 1600 block of Lyman Place has been completely restored by developers Bill Silverman and Jeff Scapa (LFIA Meliora Award 2006: Best Multi-Unit Renovation). They have been lauded for their thoughtful period paint palette, leafy garden paths, newer roof, interiors, and fanciful placards befitting the 1940s Hollywood period. One by one they restored buildings in poor condition and eventually the entire street. They were honored for a cityscape of Old Hollywood, a setting where integrity and composition connect.
