Donation – Vermont Trees

$500.00

LFIA, a long-time protector of trees throughout Los Feliz, is embarking on a campaign to raise money for sixteen Silk Floss and Pink Trumpet trees to be planted in the Upper Vermont Avenue median near the entryway to Griffith Park. These pink-blooming trees from the jacaranda family can be seen in both Griffith Park and elsewhere in Los Feliz.  Tree planting would be conducted by Los Angeles Conservation Corps.  And, the Los Angeles City’s Department of Recreation and Parks and the Department of Water & Power would be responsible for tree maintenance on the Vermont medians.
