History:
Built around 1916 by Thomas Thorkildsen as a ballroom, multi car garage, and boiler room for Briarcliff Manor. Much later it was neglected and subdivided into a residence. (Source: John Allen Sherman, resident, in taped interview by Howard Cremin 03/30/96.)
