Long-time LFIA director and past president, Marian Dodge, is among ten recipients to receive the Assembly District 51 Community Excellence Award.  Marian has been recognized for her unwavering activism and commitment to environmentally-focused initiatives while a volunteer with the Hillside Federation, Friends of Griffith Park, the Los Feliz Improvement Association and other non-profit organizations.

The awards, sponsored by California State Assemblymember Rick Chavez Zbur, honor community leaders, nonprofits, and businesses who have contributed significantly in areas such as social justice, public safety, environmental advocacy, and more.
