Architecture&Beyond Lecture Series speaker Richard Stanley will continue his photography talks Thursday, Feb. 15, 6:45-7:45 p.m. with a presentation on Scientific Photography at the Los Feliz Library, 1874 Hillhurst Ave.

Stanley will examine the scientific use of photography over the past two centuries and its resultant empirical and aesthetic records.“Today, it’s hard to imagine a world without photography and its key role in our daily lives from communication, visual media, smart phones, social media, medical imaging, space exploration and manufacturing,” says Stanley, a photo expert and Los Feliz resident. “Photography is set to be a major force in the 21st Century.”

The free lecture series, now in its 14th year, is supported by Friends of Los Feliz Library and merchants of Los Feliz Village BID.

For more information, call the Los Feliz Branch Library at (323) 913-4710.
