Seeking a historic photo? Join Christina Rice, who oversees the Los Angeles Public Library’s Photo Collection, at the Architecture&Beyond Lecture Series Thursday, Oct. 19, 6:45-7:45 p.m. at the Los Feliz Library, 1874Hillhurst Ave.

Rice, a senior librarian, maintains a photo archive of millions of images with over 100,000 (and counting) available online. She will provide an overview of what’s in the extensive archive and how to find a precise photo.

Rice, an accomplished writer about Hollywood and horses, authored “Ann Dvorak: Hollywood’s Forgotten Rebel” and has written multiple issues in the “My Little Pony” comic book series.
LAPL’s Photo Collection books will be available for purchase from Los Angeles Public Library Photo Friends.

The free lecture series, offered for over a dozen years, is supported by the Friends of Los Feliz Library and merchants of Los Feliz Village BID.

For more information, call the Los Feliz Branch Library at (323) 913-4710.
